This Year the number of applications to Tomsk universities from the city and region is 6133 compared to 4892 the previous year.

“This is a direct result of visits to five districts of Tomsk Region, which were organized throughout the year by our department to attract school leavers to Tomsk universities,” reports Dr. Pushkarenko.

The head of department also noted the high-quality work of TSUAB and TSPU with international students. In particular, in the pedagogical university where a new major in Public Policy and Social Sciences was established for students from Congo.

“Our universities position their master’s programs not only for their own graduates and Tomsk applications, but primarily for applicants from other regions and countries,” Dr. Pushkarenko emphasized.
