Tomsk pupils win 3 medals in international math and chemistry competitions

In 2015 Tomsk school students, participating for the first time in Russian teams at international math and chemistry competitions, won 1 gold and 2 silver medals.

Two of the 3 awards were earned by Nikita Gladkov, a pupil at the Tomsk Physics and Engineering School. At the 56^th international math competition for school students, which was held in July in Thailand, the Tomsk pupil took 2^nd place. At the 7^th Romanian Masters 2015 math competition, held in Romania in March, he took gold.

Another international victory was that of TPU school pupil Grigory Chernov, who took silver in the 49^th school students’ chemistry competition held in Armenia in May.

With each year the results of Tomsk school students improves: in 2015 38 participants from Tomsk Region won a total of 17 awards.
