Tomsk Universities Presented Their Educational Potential In China

The main purpose of the educational mission is to attract a big amount of Chinese students for Tomsk universities, as well as to maintain relationship and search for new partners among the leading universities in China.

Within the framework of the educational mission, the representatives of Tomsk oblast administration, TSU and TPU met with the Rector of Shenyang Polytechnic University Liu Youzhi and discussed the promising areas of cooperation. In particular, they discussed a regular exchange of information, teachers and scholars, the opening of joint research laboratories, programs “2 + 2”, “4 + 1” on scientific and technological directions.

Tomsk delegation also met with the Deputy Head of the Department of Higher Education of Liaoning Province Zhun Haobo. The parties exchanged information on the state of higher vocational education in the two regions and discussed the possibility of opening the Russian-Chinese University in the province of Liaoning.

In the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Shenyang the representatives of Tomsk universities talked about the educational potential of the region and discussed the features of paperwork in China. With the support of the Consulate, TSUAB learnt about Shenyang Construction University.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting of Tomsk delegation with leaders of Dalian Polytechnic University is also planned.
