Tomsk universities were presented to school graduates in Asinovsky district

The representatives of ten Tomsk HEIs held a meeting with school graduates inAsinovsky district.

130 of 138 school students in Asinovsky district came to the meeting. The head of the Regional Department of Higher Education Alexei Pushkarenko spoke about the admissions requirements and opportunities at HEIs, after which eleventh-graders were able to ask questions to the admissions committees.

TSU, TPU, TSPU, TSAUB, SSMU, TUSUR, branches of TAEI and STI, Tomsk Institute of Business and Tomsk Economics and Law Institute presented their educational programs. Such a meeting with graduates was organized for the first time.

“We do not just work to attract applicants; Tomsk HEIs need the best graduates of region. We are planning to organize such meetings for the eleventh-graders of Shegarsky and Kolpashevsky districts,” said Alexei Pushkarenko.

According to the opinion of the director of the Department of Education of Asinovsky district Vadim Kazarin, this event helps school students determine their choice of university.

“It is very convenient when all the admissions committees of all Tomsk universities are in one place and the graduate is able to decide on the spot where to apply. Yesterday, the greatest interest among students was generated by TUSUR, followed by TSU, then TPU," noted Vadim Kazarin.
